Parking Lot Gallery

Parking Lot Gallery Information:

The Parking Lot Gallery Exhibition will be held on a Saturday afternoon in a highly visable, high traffic area of the city. The idea is to bring the artwork to the people by utilizing public spaces like parking lots, parks and other outdoor venues.

The competition will be judged by the spectators using Dollar Voting:

Each art piece will be assigned a number which corresponds to a sealed box. Spectators will be encouraged to donate a dollar to art pieces they like best. The most money wins.

Prizes:

$500 Grand Prize

$200 First Place

3x $100 Runner Ups

3x $50 Honorable Mentions

All the money from dollar voting will be pooled and split equally amongst all the artists.

Participation Costs:

The online winners will have the option to compete in the Parking Lot Gallery show for a $25 non-refundable entrance fee. Information on how to submit the entrance fee will be included in the online winner notification email.

The entrance fee will be used for prizes and to support other costs associated with the competition.

Display materials, advertising and all other supplies will be provided by the Parking Lot Gallery.

Selected artist will be required to transport their “gallery quality” art pieces to and from the Parking Lot Gallery location.
